How do I pay for an engine?
Payment is made directly to QR Engines. We'll discuss payment options and arrangements when you get in touch — no online payments or deposits are required upfront.
What does the 1-year unlimited km warranty cover?
Our warranty covers the reconditioned engine against defects in workmanship and materials. There's no kilometre cap — drive as freely as you normally would. Contact us directly for full warranty terms and conditions.
Do you supply the engine only, or do you fit it too?
Both options are available. We supply fully reconditioned replacement engines, and we also offer a complete engine replacement service at R14,900 — which includes labour, oils, gaskets, filters, testing, and all sundries. Ask us which option suits your situation.
Which vehicles do you cater for?
We currently specialise in VW Amarok (2L BiTurbo and 2L Single Turbo) and Ford Mazda (2.2 TDCi, 3.2 TDCi and EcoBoost 1L) replacement engines. If your vehicle isn't listed, get in touch — we may be able to assist or point you in the right direction.
How do I know a reconditioned engine is as good as new?
Every engine we recondition is fully stripped, cleaned, inspected, rebuilt to OEM specifications, and tested before it leaves our workshop. With over 20 years of qualified experience, our reconditioning process restores the engine to a performance standard equivalent to new — at a fraction of the replacement cost.
